Neighborhood

The neighborhood is half the reason to be here.

These are the coffee counters, galleries, and kitchens our members duck out to, all a short walk from 49 Elizabeth Street — part of daily life at our Chinatown coworking space, and all worth the trip.

Derby Cup Coffee

Coffee

Derby Cup Coffee

A specialty espresso bar with a vintage horse-racing streak. Leather tack on the walls, local art, and a calm, intentional room set against Chinatown’s rush. The matcha, tahini latte, and espresso tonic all have a following, and the pastry case is worth the detour.

Seating is tight, so it’s best as a quick reset rather than a long sit.

Why members like itA two-minute walk for a proper espresso and a quiet table when the studio gets loud.

Café Integral

Coffee

Café Integral

A small, design-forward coffee bar devoted entirely to Nicaraguan single-origin coffee. Founded in 2012 by César Vega, who imports and roasts only Nicaraguan beans, it pours careful pour-overs, espresso, and a year-round cold brew. The Dulcinea espresso blend is a house favorite, and the counter is a quietly serious one.

Why members like itFurther up Elizabeth Street, and the move when members want serious single-origin coffee.

Vanessa’s Dumpling House

A Lower East Side institution for fast, inexpensive dumplings and sesame-pancake sandwiches. Counter service, high volume, and budget-friendly. The fried pork-and-chive dumplings are the move. It has grown into a small NYC group, but the Eldridge Street original is the one to know.
